Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve Signs MoU With Airbnb

A famous tiger forest in India called Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve wants more people to visit and stay with local families nearby.

It made a deal with Airbnb, a website that helps people book places to stay.

The deal was signed in the city of Nagpur on July 29, which is International Tiger Day.

The Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, was there to see the signing.

Almost 100 small guest houses, called homestays, are run by families near the reserve.

Airbnb will teach the hosts how to make their homestays better for visitors from India and other countries.

In the first part of the plan, 30 homestays will get this special training.

The leaders hope this brings more tourists and helps local people earn more money.

They also believe it will help protect tigers, because when communities benefit from tourism, they help take care of the forest.
