Exports of the Fronx began in June 2023, with the first 1 lakh units shipped in under 25 months and the second 1 lakh in roughly 13 months.
The compact SUV is exported to nearly 90 countries, including Japan, where exports began in August 2024.
Manufactured at Maruti Suzuki's Hansalpur facility in Gujarat, the Fronx has been India's number one exported passenger vehicle since FY 2024-25.
Maruti Suzuki exports 17 models to nearly 100 countries, and all three of India's top exported passenger vehicles in Q1 FY 2026-27 came from its portfolio.
