Kamal Haasan Says Staying at the Top Can Be Lonely

Kamal Haasan is a very famous Indian movie actor.

Someone from the news agency PTI asked him questions about his career.

They asked if he ever feels proud and tells himself, "Well done, Kamal!"

Kamal said he never took his success too seriously.

He talked about one of his favourite writers, named Jayakanthan.

Jayakanthan compared success to climbing Mount Everest.

When you reach the very top of a mountain, you should not stay there forever.

If you stay, there is no room for other people to climb up too.

Kamal says being at the top can feel lonely.

So he thinks it is better to come down and let others have their turn.
