Mountaineer Yashwanth Summits Ladakh Peak, Pays Tribute to Nirmal Purja
A brave mountain climber from India named Bhukya Yashwanth climbed a very tall, never-before-climbed mountain in Ladakh.
The mountain is 6,037 metres high, which is much taller than most buildings.
Yashwanth is on a special mission called 'Har Shikhar Par Tiranga'.
On this mission, he wants to climb the highest mountain in all 28 states of India.
When he reaches a peak, he waves the Indian flag, the Tricolour.
Climbing such tall mountains is very hard and can be dangerous.
Yashwanth also remembered another famous climber named Nirmal Purja, who sadly died during a very challenging expedition.
Purja was trying to climb all 14 very tall mountains over 8,000 metres twice without extra oxygen.
Yashwanth says that a successful climb is not just reaching the top, but coming back down safely.
He wants everyone to respect the mountains.
