Delhi's massive Red Fort security plan: snipers, NSG, anti-drone systems
On August 15, India celebrates its Independence Day.
The main celebration happens at the Red Fort in Delhi.
Because many important people come, the police prepare a very big safety plan.

Delhi Police revealed a two-part security plan — human and technical — at the Red Fort for Independence Day on August 15.
Around 15,000 to 20,000 personnel from Delhi Police, the National Security Guard (NSG), paramilitary forces and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) will be deployed.
Over 1,000 CCTV cameras, facial recognition, number plate recognition, intrusion detection, anti-drone systems and body-worn cameras are part of the technical deployment.
Snipers, 'hit teams' and Quick Reaction Teams will be stationed at strategic points including watchtowers, and social media chatter is being monitored.
The Indian Air Force Band will perform at the National War Memorial's Public Plaza, Param Yodha Sthal, to mark 150 years of 'Vande Mataram'.
