Independence Day Security Drive Conducted at Bhopal's Rani Kamlapati Station
Before Independence Day, police officers at a big train station in Bhopal wanted to make sure everyone stays safe.
Two special police groups, the RPF and the GRP, worked together to check the station carefully.
They looked at important places like the ticket office and the luggage area.
They also inspected cars and other vehicles in the parking lot.
The police did not find anything suspicious or dangerous.
They asked the people who carry bags and drive auto-rickshaws at the station to tell them if they see anything strange.
Passengers were told to watch their bags closely and stay away from unclaimed objects.
Everyone was asked to report anything unusual to the police right away.
All of this is being done to help travelers have a safe and smooth trip for Independence Day.
RPF and GRP jointly conducted a special intensive security drive at Rani Kamlapati Railway Station in Bhopal ahead of Independence Day.
Thorough inspections and special surveillance were carried out at the reservation office, Passenger Reservation System (PRS) centre, circulating area and parcel office.
Porters and auto-rickshaw drivers were instructed to immediately report any suspicious person, unclaimed object or unusual activity to RPF or GRP.
Vehicles parked on station premises and in parking areas were inspected, and no unclaimed or suspicious vehicles were found.
Passenger luggage is being screened with baggage scanners and handheld metal detectors, and passengers were advised to report unclaimed objects immediately.
