Areeb Majeed is being tried over allegations that he travelled to Iraq and Syria in 2014 to join the Islamic State.

The National Investigation Agency has filed another document in the case.

This was its fifth supplementary chargesheet.

Majeed asked the court not to use a particular law against him.

The law is called Section 17 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.

It deals with collecting money for a terrorist act.

The court rejected his request.

However, the court said the new chargesheet was mainly meant to add official approval and electronic evidence to the case, not to add a new charge.
