India Post Announces 25,000+ GDS Vacancies for 2026
India Post is hiring more than 25,000 people for village postal jobs.
The jobs include Branch Postmaster, Assistant Branch Postmaster and Dak Sevak.
Registration starts on August 31, 2026.
Applications and fee payment start on September 2 and end on September 21.
Most applicants must be 18 to 40 years old and have passed Class 10.
They also need Mathematics, English, the required local language, computer knowledge and cycling skills.
There will be no written test.
Instead, candidates will mainly be chosen using their Class 10 marks.
Shortlisted applicants must show original documents before receiving a provisional engagement offer.
