Navi Mumbai Opens Centre for Addiction Recovery and Rehabilitation

Navi Mumbai has opened a centre to help people recover from addiction.

The centre has 10 beds for patients.

Doctors will check patients and provide medicines when needed.

Psychologists and counsellors will help patients deal with stress, depression, fear and negative thoughts.

Patients can also take part in yoga, meditation and exercise.

Games such as carrom and chess will provide recreation.

Police and city officials hope the centre will help people return to their communities.

The facility is part of a campaign to make Navi Mumbai free from drugs.
