Three arrested for gang-rape of tribal woman
A 30-year-old tribal woman from West Bengal was allegedly abducted and gang-raped by three men in Mysuru, Karnataka.
The incident happened on the night of July 18 and 19.
The woman was returning from a friend's birthday celebration when she was forcibly pulled into a car near the private bus stand.
The men took her to a lodge near Mooguru village, where they assaulted and raped her.
They also stole Rs 5,000 and two mobile phones.
The woman was later dropped near her residence and reported the incident to the police.
The accused have been arrested and are facing charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
