Freida Pinto Returns to Indian Cinema With Unaccustomed Earth Adaptation

Freida Pinto is coming back to Indian film after being away for eight years.

Her last Indian film was Love Sonia in 2018.

She will lead a new show for an OTT platform.

The show is based on Unaccustomed Earth by Jhumpa Lahiri.

After learning she has cancer, her character moves her family from India to Cambridge, Massachusetts.

She goes there because it was the place where she felt most at home.
