Khajuraho Airport Resumes Flights in September
Khajuraho Airport, known for its iconic temple complex, has been without regular flights for about two months.
The airport director, Santosh Singh, said this was not due to any problems at the airport but because of issues like not enough planes, changes in flight routes, and managing flight schedules.
He expects flights to start again in September.
The airport has been busy improving things for passengers, like adding a kids' play area, a library, free Wi-Fi, and better restrooms.
It even won first place in a survey for making passengers happy.
The airport can handle a lot of people and has a long runway.
Once flights resume, it will be easier for tourists to visit the famous temples and help the local economy.

Passenger traffic has increased from 15,701 in 2022 to 51,543 in 2025.
