A doctor who worked at a big hospital in Kolkata, India, was badly hurt and died at the hospital two years ago.

Many people across the country were very sad and angry, and they held protests asking for justice.

Now, the leader of the state, Suvendu Adhikari, said that on Sunday morning at 11 o'clock, all government hospitals and health centres will be completely quiet for two minutes.

Before that, people will light a lamp to remember the doctor.

This is the first time the state government has held an official event to remember her.

One man named Sanjay Roy was caught and sent to prison for life for the crime.

The police agency called the CBI is now looking into the case again with a new team.

The doctor's mother is now a lawmaker, and a special event in her memory will be held in Panihati on Sunday.

Her family and the state leader will attend that event.
