Manipal Hospital in Bengaluru has started a new department for stomach and digestive-system problems.

It is called 360° Gut Care.

The department brings several kinds of doctors and treatments together in one place.

These include doctors for digestion, surgery, cancer care and robotic operations.

The hospital said it will help patients with problems such as fatty liver disease, bowel illnesses and gastrointestinal cancers.

Patients can receive screening, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care through the program.

Dr. Rajani M praised the initiative and discussed the importance of food habits and gut health.

The hospital also said liver transplantation is part of the program after receiving government approval.
