US authorities have charged an Indian national named Kawal Preet Singh with serious drug and gun offenses.

They say he sold large amounts of methamphetamine from a pizza restaurant in California.

Agents searched his home and restaurant on August 18.

They reportedly found more than 40 pounds of methamphetamine, three guns, and over $10,000 in cash.

Prosecutors also allege that he had illegal guns while handling the drug operation.

If he is found guilty, he could receive a very long prison sentence.

However, the charges are only allegations right now.

Singh is presumed innocent unless a court proves his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
