Police say a man received a call from someone pretending to be a bank worker.

The caller allegedly tricked him into making credit-card transactions worth about ₹1.89 lakh.

Investigators found that ₹1.01 lakh was used to buy gold coins online.

The coins were sent to a home in Gurugram.

Police followed shopping records and phone data to trace the suspects.

They arrested Mahesh Gupta in Delhi and Bunty Mahor in Gurugram.

Police say Mahesh made the call and Bunty received the one-time password.

Two other alleged gang members are still being sought.
