Deported Bangladeshi Woman Allegedly Re-Enters India, Arrested In Mumbai
A woman from Bangladesh came to India without the right papers.
The police in India realised she should not be there.
In July, they sent her back to her home country.
Later, the police say, she came back to India again.
She is said to have walked through a forest route to enter without showing papers.
In August, police found her walking near a beach in Mumbai.
They asked her to show proof that she could stay in India.
She could not show any valid papers, so they arrested her.
Police are now investigating her case.

A 27-year-old Bangladeshi woman, Nadira Sultana, was arrested in Mumbai for allegedly re-entering India illegally without valid travel documents.
She had earlier been deported to Bangladesh in July 2026 by Govandi Police under a Deportation Order dated July 22, 2026.
Police acted on a tip received around 8.15 am on August 15 about a suspected woman near Chowpatty opposite Wilson College on N.S. Patkar Road.
She initially gave evasive replies and an address in Koparkhairane, Navi Mumbai, but failed to produce proof of Indian citizenship.
Sultana allegedly admitted to returning via a forest route; Gamdevi Police registered a case for illegal entry, and investigation is ongoing.
