Haryana’s Cabinet approved several changes at a meeting led by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.

Some former Agniveers will have an easier route to certain state government jobs.

For covered jobs, they will not have to take specified exams or physical tests, though other rules still apply.

The Cabinet also agreed in principle to make mining guard jobs Group C posts.

More women may qualify for the Lado Lakshmi Yojana because the family income limit is increasing.

It will go from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.80 lakh a year.

Eligible beneficiaries will receive Rs 2,100 each month.

After the first month, part of that money will go into a government-operated deposit account.

The Cabinet also extended the current formula for sharing state funds with local bodies from 2026-27 until the next commission’s recommendations are available.
