KSRTC Launches Premium Executive Class Bus on Alappuzha-Bengaluru Route
The state bus company in Kerala, called KSRTC, has started a new fancy bus service between Alappuzha and Bengaluru.
The bus is an "Executive Class" bus, which means it is extra comfortable for passengers.
It has 36 soft semi-sleeper seats where people can lean back and rest.
The bus also has a washroom, a small cafeteria and pantry, so passengers can get food during the trip.
Every seat has its own entertainment screen, a charger for phones, and a holder for a water bottle.
The bus travels at night, leaving Alappuzha at 5:30 in the evening.
It stops at places like Vytila, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore and Salem along the way.
It arrives in Bengaluru the next morning at 6:25 am.
On the way back, it leaves Bengaluru at 8:00 pm and reaches Alappuzha at 8:00 am.
The bus runs every other day, so people can enjoy an airplane-like trip by road.
