L&T Order Inflows Top Rs 1.4 Lakh Crore
L&T is a large company that builds infrastructure, energy projects and technology facilities.
It received many new orders during July and August.
The total value of these orders was more than Rs 1.4 lakh crore.
Some projects are in the Middle East, including offshore facilities and a transport system for a Dubai airport.
L&T also received orders in India from ONGC and other companies.
It will build a large AI computing facility in Chennai with Together AI.
That facility is planned to use 10,000 NVIDIA B300 GPUs.
L&T also won work related to power plants, offshore wind transmission and buildings.
The company’s large order book gives it substantial work to execute in the future.
Larsen & Toubro’s July-August order inflow exceeded Rs 1.4 lakh crore across infrastructure, energy, offshore, data centres and transportation.
L&T and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries won a Rs 2,500-5,000 crore contract for an automated people mover at Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport.
L&T secured a Middle East offshore facilities order worth more than Rs 15,000 crore and ONGC offshore projects valued at Rs 5,000-10,000 crore.
Through Vyoma.AI and LTN Compute, L&T will build a 10,000-GPU NVIDIA B300 AI Factory in Chennai with Together AI.
L&T’s order book stood at Rs 7.79 lakh crore at the end of Q1FY27, up 27% year-on-year.
