L&T Secures ₹10,000-15,000 Crore Order to Build NVIDIA AI Factory
A big Indian company called Larsen & Toubro, or L&T, is famous for building big things like roads, metros, and refineries.
Now L&T has won a very large order worth thousands of crores to build a giant AI computer center.
This center will have 10,000 super-powerful computer chips made by a company called NVIDIA.
The AI computers will be placed in the city of Chennai in India.
This project is being done with an American company called Together AI.
The center will help train and run smart computer programs that can learn and solve problems.
L&T's chairman, S N Subrahmanyan, says this is a big step in making India a global hub for AI infrastructure.
The site is planned to grow very big and use a lot of power, with the first phase designed for 250 megawatts.
