L&T Wins ₹10,000–15,000 Crore Mega Order for NVIDIA AI Factory
Larsen & Toubro, called L&T for short, is a very big Indian company that builds huge things like bridges, buildings and power plants.
L&T just won an enormous job worth between 10,000 and 15,000 crore rupees.
For this job, L&T will build a giant 'AI Factory' in the city of Chennai, India.
The factory will contain 10,000 super-powerful computer chips made by NVIDIA, called B300 GPUs.
These special chips help computers learn new things, which is what we call artificial intelligence, or AI.
The factory will help companies build AI models, make them better at specific jobs, and use them to get answers.
It will be the biggest single AI setup in all of India.
A company from America called Together AI is working with L&T on this project.
The plan is to help make India a world leader in AI technology.
Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured a mega order worth Rs 10,000-15,000 crore through its AI infrastructure subsidiary LTN Compute.
The project is India's largest single-cluster AI infrastructure: an NVIDIA B300 AI Factory with 10,000 NVIDIA B300 GPUs.
The AI Factory will be hosted at Vyoma.AI's gigawatt-scale data centre campus in Chennai, with Phase 1 designed for 250 MW and power infrastructure ready for 150 MVA.
The order is part of a strategic partnership with US-based AI cloud company Together AI and marks L&T's entry into the AI Factory business.
The facility will support large-scale AI training, fine-tuning and inference, supporting India's aim to become a global hub for next-generation AI infrastructure.
