Mercedes-Benz has launched a special version of its G63 SUV in India.
It is called the Mercedes-AMG G63 Offroad PRO.
The vehicle costs Rs 3.80 crore before additional charges.
Only a limited number will be available.
It has a powerful V8 engine supported by a mild-hybrid system.
The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.4 seconds.
New systems help it drive over rocky and sandy ground.
These include adjustable suspension, special traction controls, and cameras that show the area beneath the front of the vehicle.
It also gets equipment such as a roof rack and a rear ladder for adventure gear.
Mercedes-Benz India has launched the limited-run Mercedes-AMG G63 Offroad PRO at Rs 3.80 crore ex-showroom.
The SUV uses a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 with a 48V mild-hybrid system, producing 585 hp and 850 Nm.
Mercedes claims a 0-100 kmph time of 4.4 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 240 kmph.
Off-road equipment includes AMG Traction PRO, adjustable active suspension, drive modes for rock and sand, and a transparent hood function.
The variant adds exclusive styling, a roof luggage rack, rear ladder, and matte-black 20-inch alloy wheels with 275/50 R20 tyres.
