Lucknow Metro GoSmart Card holders can switch to NCMC free

UPMRC has opened a 30-day special exchange window for Lucknow Metro GoSmart Card holders to switch to the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) free of cost.
The exchange facility is available at all Lucknow Metro stations.
Passengers are advised to exhaust the balance on their existing GoSmart Cards before surrendering them.
The NCMC, known as 'One Nation One Card', is an interoperable mobility card usable across participating metros, buses, parking facilities and retail outlets.
Outside the exchange window, NCMC issuance costs Rs 100 (non-refundable), with a minimum top-up of Rs 100 and a maximum of Rs 2,000; NCMC users get a 10% discount on every Lucknow Metro journey.
