Gujarat Launches 101 New Buses Ahead of Raksha Bandhan
Gujarat has added 101 buses before the Raksha Bandhan festival.
The buses are meant to help people travel more easily, safely and comfortably.
Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi started the service in Gandhinagar.
Women conductors celebrated Raksha Bandhan by tying rakhis to him.
The new buses include super express buses, mini buses and sleeper coaches.
GSRTC will also run about 6,500 extra trips.
These trips will serve major cities and important pilgrimage places.
The extra services will run from August 26 to 30.
The Gujarat government launched 101 new Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation buses from Gandhinagar on August 26.
The fleet includes 71 super express buses, 20 mini buses and 10 sleeper coaches.

GSRTC will operate about 6,500 additional trips across Gujarat from August 26 to 30.
Special services will connect Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot and pilgrimage centres including Ambaji, Pavagadh and Somnath.
