A team of 10 forensic experts from Gujarat has traveled to Nepal.

They will help identify people who died in recent floods.

The experts will collect DNA from victims and compare it with samples from families.

This can help families learn what happened to missing relatives.

The work is being guided by two Indian government ministries.

The team will use a process called Disaster Victim Identification.

The university previously used similar skills after the AI-171 aircraft accident.

In that case, DNA matching was completed in 10 days.
