IIM Ranchi Welcomes 6th IPM Cohort with 71% Female Representation

A business school called IIM Ranchi just welcomed a brand-new group of students.

This is the sixth batch of its special five-year program called the Integrated Programme in Management.

There are 62 new students, and most of them — 71 out of every 100 — are girls.

The students spent a week doing fun activities like treasure hunts, sports, dance competitions, and business games.

On August 10, 2026, a ceremony officially started their journey at the school.

The school's director, Professor Deepak Kumar Srivastava, told the students to stay positive, be kind, and take responsibility for their choices.

A special guest named Nathan S V encouraged them to work hard, be honest, and keep learning all their lives.

He also told them that even small actions can make a big difference.

The students will now spend the next five years learning how to manage businesses and make a positive impact on the world.
