Nagpur Police Clarify DJ Rules Ahead of Ganesh Festival

Nagpur police said DJs are not completely banned during the Ganesh festival.

DJs can be used if they stay within the allowed noise level.

Very powerful or changed sound systems are not allowed.

Police are especially concerned about systems that create loud sounds and strong vibrations.

They may also act against Plasma and Pressure Mid systems if they break the noise rules.

Beams and laser lights are also restricted.

The rules will apply from September 4 to November 1.

Police commissioner Vishwas Nangre Patil said action will be taken when the limits are broken.
