India views 'Ease of Justice' as key governance priority: Meghwal
India's Law Minister, Arjun Ram Meghwal, spoke at a big meeting about justice in the city of Indore.
He talked about 'Ease of Justice,' which means making it easy for every person to get fairness and help from the justice system.
He wants justice to be easy to reach, affordable, clear, and fair for everyone.
He said making sure people get justice is not just one office's job — it is something every citizen should help with.
He also said India's dream of becoming a 'Developed India' by 2047 can only come true if everyone gets equal chances, equal rights, and timely justice.
Over the last ten years, India has worked to make courts stronger, solve disagreements without long fights, use technology, and focus on people's needs.
Meghwal reminded everyone that families and village groups in India have solved problems by talking for a very long time.
Now, the whole world is using this idea, and it is called mediation.
The Chief Justice of India also spoke at the same meeting.

He said the 'Viksit Bharat 2047' goal will be realised only when every citizen gets equal opportunities, equal rights, and timely justice.
He cited a decade of judicial reforms covering institutional strengthening, alternative dispute resolution, citizen-centric governance, and technology-driven justice, noting India's dialogue-based dispute tradition is now embraced globally through mediation.
