Jammu and Kashmir: Growth surges since Article 370 abrogation

Jammu and Kashmir is a region in the north of India.

For many years, it had special rules that kept it different from the rest of the country.

In 2019, India changed those rules, and since then the region has been growing and changing quickly.

Many new roads and bridges have been built, connecting villages and towns.

A big railway line was finished in 2025 so trains can run in all kinds of weather.

In 2026, a fast train called Vande Bharat started running between Jammu and Srinagar in under five hours.

Far more tourists are coming to visit, which helps hotels, shops, and local guides.

Seven new medical colleges were opened, so more people can train to become doctors.

Companies are investing lots of money, which can create hundreds of thousands of jobs.

All of this is meant to bring Jammu and Kashmir closer to the rest of India.
