MEA urges international sympathy and solidarity for PoK residents

There is a place called Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, which some people call PoK.

Many people who live there are upset and are holding big protests.

They say that the safety forces in their area have been very rough and have hurt people.

Some people were even hurt when the forces fired at them.

Women and children also joined the protests, carrying flags and shouting for change.

The people who organized the protests are part of a group called the Joint Awami Action Committee.

They say people in the area do not have enough everyday things like food and other supplies.

India's government, called the Ministry of External Affairs, said the people there need sympathy and help from the whole world.

The group also asked human rights groups and the news media to watch what is happening.

Everyone hopes the situation gets better and people are safe.
