Bangladesh stun Australia with historic nine-wicket Test win in Darwin

Bangladesh and Australia played a Test cricket match, a very long game that can last for up to five days.

Australia batted first but scored only 198 runs, which is a low score.

Then Bangladesh batted and scored 426 runs.

A young batsman named Tanzid Hasan Tamim scored 101 runs, his very first century in Test cricket.

When Australia batted again, Cameron Green scored 104 runs, but most of his teammates did not get many runs, so Australia was all out for 284.

That meant Bangladesh only needed 57 runs to win.

Even though Bangladesh lost its best batsman early in the chase, Shadman Islam and Mominul Haque stayed calm and guided the team to victory with nine wickets to spare.

This was the very first time Bangladesh ever beat Australia in a Test match played in Australia.

It was also only the third time an Asian team won a Test in Australia.

Bangladeshi fans celebrated the historic win.
