200+ Join Indore Heritage Walk Celebrating Holkar-Era Legacy
More than 200 people took part in a special heritage walk in Indore.
The walk was held on World Tourism Day.
It started at Krishnapura Chhatri, went through Rajwada and ended at Gopal Mandir.
Students and members of several organisations joined.
Historian Zafar Ansari told participants about Indore’s past and important places.
He also showed old objects connected with sanitation.
Participants learned that sanitation work in Indore began during the Holkar era.
They took a cleanliness pledge and were asked to protect the city’s historic places.
