World Tourism Day Trek Highlights Ghanapuram Fort’s Heritage

The Tourism department organised a World Tourism Day trekking event at Ghanapuram Fort on Sunday.
The event aimed to introduce Wanaparthy district’s historic and tourist sites and explain their significance.

Reddy said the fort and Kakatiya-era tank systems demonstrate historical, architectural and water-management achievements.
The fort is proposed for development with an allocation of Rs 2 crore, although the government order is pending.
