Excise Department Busts Illegal Liquor Units Near Jalpaiguri Tea Estate
Officials found illegal places making country liquor near a tea estate in Jalpaiguri.

They also found 3,920 litres of fermented wash used to make more liquor.
The materials had been hidden underground in sealed plastic containers.

The state excise department and police raided illegal country liquor-making units near a tea estate in Rajganj block, Jalpaiguri, on Thursday.
Officials recovered 135 litres of country liquor and 3,920 litres of fermented wash used to make it.
The liquor and ingredients were reportedly buried in sealed plastic containers and were seized or destroyed.
No arrests have been made, while police and excise officials continue investigating those involved.
Siliguri Metropolitan Police has installed 2,000 CCTV cameras around Siliguri over the past three months.
