France, Saudi Arabia agree on €6 billion Dragon Ball Z theme park project near Paris · theprint.in

France and Saudi Arabia want to build a very large amusement park based on Dragon Ball Z. The park would be near Paris, close to the town of Cergy-Pontoise.

It is expected to cost €6 billion.

Saudi Arabia’s Qiddiya group will pay for the project.

French officials say it could create about 22,000 jobs.

The idea reportedly grew from Emmanuel Macron and Mohammed bin Salman sharing an interest in Dragon Ball Z. The park would be part of Saudi Arabia’s effort to invest in entertainment instead of relying only on oil.

Officials have not yet announced when the park will open.
