Mathura and Vrindavan are preparing a three-day festival for Janmashtami.

Janmashtami celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna.

More than 1,000 artists will perform music, dances, folk art, and devotional programs.

The main programs will be held at the Panchjanya Auditorium and on stages around the city.

A special show will use 500 drones to create pictures of Krishna’s birth and stories in the sky.

The drone show will take place from 9 p.m.

to 10 p.m.

on September 4.

People may be able to see the formations from about 3 to 4 kilometers around Krishna Janmabhoomi.

Officials are also preparing parking, barricades, traffic plans, watchtowers, and police teams for the crowds.
