Delhi Janmashtami Event Blends Krishna Traditions With AI Attractions
A large Janmashtami celebration will take place in Dwarka, Delhi.
Janmashtami is a festival connected with Krishna.
This event will use both traditional performances and new technology.
Visitors can see a 3D AI Krishna that answers questions.
They can also play motion-sensing games and take special photos.
More than 250 performers will present dances and plays about Krishna’s life.
A music group will mix devotional songs with live rock music.
Organisers hope these activities will attract young people and discuss problems such as digital addiction and burnout.
The 36th Shri Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsav will be held September 3 and 4 at DDA Ground in Dwarka.
The event will include AI Krishna holograms, a face-swap booth, a selfie installation and motion-sensing games.
Organisers expect more than 50,000 visitors and say the technology is intended to engage young people.
More than 250 performers will present 15 dance ballets and theatrical productions based on Krishna’s life.
A live “bhajan clubbing” session will combine devotional music with rock-band instrumentation.
