Crocodile Sighting in Krishna River Causes Panic in Andhra Pradesh
A crocodile was spotted sitting on a sand dune in the Krishna River in India.
People who saw it warned the fishermen nearby.
The fishermen told the fisheries department, and soon forest officials were asked to catch the crocodile.
Officials think the crocodile may have come from the Godavari River through the Pattiseema pumps, which move water from one river to the other.
The pumps have openings with mesh screens, but the crocodile may have slipped through a gap.
Experts from a zoo are coming to help capture it safely.
Until then, everyone is being told to stay away from the water and be careful.
