GL Bajaj Student Takes Second Runner-Up at AI Hackathon

GL Bajaj said the result showed how competitions can help students practise technology and solve real-world problems.
Mridul Singh Soam, a fourth-year B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering student at GLBITM, secured the Second Runner-Up position.
The Women Who Master Hackathon 2026 was organised by Aspire For Her and Logitech as a women-only Generative AI competition.
The event received more than 129,000 applications, with 115 finalists advancing to the Grand Finale at Logitech headquarters.
A total of 1,712 participants took part, earning the hackathon a Guinness World Records title for the largest women-only Generative AI hackathon across multiple venues.
GL Bajaj leadership said the achievement demonstrated the value of practical learning, innovation and future-ready technology skills.
