Pradyot urges firm India border policy, faster frontier infrastructure
A leader from India named Pradyot Debbarma talked about India's borders.
Borders are the lines that separate India from other countries.
He said India should be strong and firm about its borders and that they cannot be changed.
He also said India should build more roads, highways, airports and communication links near the borders.
In the past, India did not build much near the borders because it was worried that another country called China might use those roads to come into India.

He said building more infrastructure will help the people who live near the borders and also help India.
He wants people living near the borders to have the same nice things as everyone else in India.

He said India's earlier policy of limiting border-area development over fears China could exploit it is a policy of the past.
He stressed that borders are not negotiable and that border residents should have the same amenities and standard of living as other citizens.
