Kashmir experiences extreme cold during Chilla-i-Kalan

Srinagar is also very cold, with temperatures dropping to minus 5.7 degrees.

Other places like Pahalgam, Gulmarg, and Sonamarg are also freezing.

The water in Dal Lake and other places has turned into ice because of the cold.

The weather will stay dry but cloudy until January 21.

There hasn't been any snow in the plains yet this season.
