Godavari River Reaches Second Flood Warning Level

The Godavari River in India is getting very high at a town called Bhadrachalam.

The water level is 48 feet, which is high enough to warn people about flooding.

The river is carrying a lot of water, more than 11 million cubic feet every second.

Because of this, the local government is keeping a close eye on the river and telling people to stay away from low places.

They have set up barriers and opened gates to help move water out of the area.

The river might get even higher if more water comes from a nearby river called the Indravati.

The officials want to be ready in case the water rises even more.
