The Godavari River in Bhadrachalam, a town in Telangana, India, got very high because of a lot of rain in nearby states.

The water level reached a dangerous height, called the second flood warning, at about 48 feet.

This made 49 villages get flooded, and roads and historic places were covered with water.

The local police and fire services helped rescue 38 people who were stuck in the water.

The government set up shelters for people who had to leave their homes and told everyone to stay away from the river.
