Quotes
Mikael Eriksson
Head of Ericsson Antenna System
“We have 22,000 employees in India and 10 per cent of them – 2,200 are there only to focus for R&D. The focus for R&D will be crucial for a long future. They are focussed on 6G evolution, AI, and they are also focussed on design for own chips and our capabilities. By doing this, Ericsson is already working with chipsets which are 3 nanometres. That is an extreme competitive advantage.”

“We feel very proud to say that we started our journey in India in 1903. This is 123 years ago, and then we were the first manufacturer in order to produce in India in 1994. We set our own manufacturing capacities in India. Today, we produce all the 4G and 5G radios that are used in the country, within the country.”
