India, Indonesia Hold 12th Army Talks in Lucknow

India and Indonesia are two big countries near the Indian Ocean, and they are good friends and partners.

Army leaders from both countries met in Lucknow, a city in India, for a meeting called the Army-to-Army Staff Talks.

This was the twelfth time the two armies held these talks.

They talked about how to work together on defence, train together, and share their knowledge and skills.

Before this meeting, India's leader, PM Narendra Modi, visited Indonesia.

He met Indonesia's president, Prabowo Subianto, and they talked about trade, safety at sea, space, health, and more.

Together, the two leaders opened a project to restore an old, famous temple called Prambanan Temple.

Earlier, in May, more than 400 soldiers from 12 countries trained together in Meghalaya for an exercise called PRAGATI.

All these meetings and exercises help keep the region around the Indian Ocean peaceful and safe.
