Assam CM Calls Flood-Hit Children 'Gen Hope' Amid Protests

There is a big, rainy place in India called Assam, and its leader is Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Recently, very heavy rain caused big floods in Assam.

Many families had to leave their homes and are staying in special places called relief camps.

The Chief Minister visited the camps to see how people were doing and to talk to the children.

He took pictures and shared them on social media, and he said the children were smiling even in tough times.

He said that even though people call young people names like 'Gen Z' or 'Gen Alpha,' he likes to call them 'Gen Hope.'

He explained that their laughter and optimism show that hope is always stronger than hardship.

His words came at a time when many people were talking about young people protesting in the capital city.

He promised families that the government would keep helping them until life gets back to normal.
