Olympic Medalist Casey Kaufhold Set for Archery Premier League Debut
The Archery Premier League will hold its second season in Hyderabad starting October 8.
It will last for 11 days.
Twelve archers from outside India will compete, including three Olympic medallists.
Casey Kaufhold, who won a bronze medal at the Paris Olympics, will compete in the league for the first time.
Mete Gazoz and Alejandra Valencia will return after competing in the first season.
Other well-known archers, including Mike Schloesser and Andrea Becerra, will also take part.
The league will include men and women competing in recurve and compound archery across six teams.
A 15-second shot clock will make each contest faster and more challenging.

Season 2 will feature 12 overseas archers from 10 countries, including three Olympic medallists.
Returning competitors include Mete Gazoz, Alejandra Valencia, Mike Schloesser, Andrea Becerra and Mathias Fullerton.
Alejandra Usquiano, Marcus D’Almeida and other international archers will make their league debuts in Hyderabad.
The 11-day tournament will feature six franchises, 48 athletes and a 15-second shot clock.
