Jackal Rescued After Ten Days Trapped In Madhya Pradesh Well
A jackal accidentally fell into a farm well in Longsari village.
It stayed trapped there for about 10 days.
The farmer, Laxman Aske, found it and tried to help.
He gave the jackal food while seeking a safe way to rescue it.
The frightened animal hid inside a motor room in the well.
Forest department workers came with rescue equipment.
They lowered a cot and entered the motor chamber.
They used a loop to pull the jackal out carefully.
After a medical check, the jackal was released safely.
A jackal was rescued from a farm well in Longsari village, Madhya Pradesh, after being trapped for around 10 days.

Forest department rescuers lowered a cot and entered the well’s motor chamber to reach the frightened jackal.
The team secured the jackal’s leg with a loop, pulled it out and arranged a medical examination.
The jackal was later released safely; officials said the species is protected under Schedule II of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.
