Buffaloes turn saviours, chase tigress away after owner attacked

A man named Ramnaresh Singh went into a big forest called the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve in India to look for his two buffaloes.

While he was searching, he suddenly met a tigress who was walking with her baby cub.

The tigress jumped on him, grabbed him, and hurt his hand, and he thought his life was over.

But then his two buffaloes came running and chased the tigress back into the forest, saving his life.

His friends found him lying below a slope and helped stop the bleeding.

Forest workers took him to a hospital in Manpur, where doctors said he was doing fine.

The forest department also gave him Rs 3,000 to help him out.

Now, forest officials are keeping a closer watch in the area so that people stay safe.

Singh said that if his buffaloes had not been there, he would not have survived.
